My latest gallery in my creative renewal journey series includes a scenic drive down the steepest part of old Route 66 to visit Sitegraves Pass and the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, an unexpected slice of history in the Southwest, which thankfully did not fall down while I was there. From the stunning overlook at Sitegraves Pass, you can see Arizona, California, and Nevada all at once, all surrounding a moving memorial honoring lost loved ones. This unforgettable cross-country road trip has truly helped me to reconnect with my passion for photography and visual storytelling. I’m so thankful for this experience made possible through the prestigious 2024-2026 Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship, an Indy Arts Council program supported by Lilly Endowment, Inc. This incredible opportunity allows me to push the limits of my creative work while reigniting the artistic passion that drives me.
