INDIANAPOLIS, IN (September 6, 2025) – Rod Tuffcurls And The Bench Press brought the house down one last time at the HiFi Annex in Fountain Square on Saturday, September 6, 2025 night courtesy of MOKB Presents. The beloved band headlined their final show at the Annex before the venue shutters its doors for good at the end of this season. For the group and their Indianapolis fans, it was more than a concert… it was a homecoming and a farewell rolled into one glittering, high-energy spectacle.
The Annex was packed shoulder to shoulder with fans eager to send off both the band and their time at this stage in style. From the first note, Rod Tuffcurls And The Bench Press had the crowd bouncing, belting, and laughing along to their signature mix of nostalgia and melodic brilliance. CC Ryder took the audience soaring with spot-on rock anthems, Dr. Marty Freeze dazzled on the keys, Dick Celebrity spun the night into a fever dream of beats, and Rod himself led the charge with boundless charisma, flexed abs, and that trademark smile that could light up a stadium.
As the final chords echoed through Fountain Square, there was a bittersweet pause. The Annex will host a few more shows before closing at the end of the season, but for Rod Tuffcurls And The Bench Press, this night was the end of an era. Both the band and the fans know this is far from goodbye. They’ll be back in Indianapolis soon, and when they return, the spirit of the Annex will live on in every note.
