INDIANAPOLIS, IN (August 23, 2019) – Bigfoot Yancey brought their one-of-a-kind musical prowess and down-home charm to The Palladium at The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana for a casual evening of phenomenal music and fun on Friday, August 23, 2019. Fans traveled from far and wide to fill the room for the highly anticipated night in one of Indiana’s most beautiful venues. The concert goers carried with them a bubbling excitement about to burst forth as they waited for the acclaimed headliner to appear.

Bigfoot Yancey stepped on stage to a sea of well deserved applause, and warmly greeted the crowd. The smiles on the faces of their fans lit up the room like stars shining in the night sky the second the band began to play. It wasn’t long before the floor in front of the stage disappeared having been occupied by gleeful devotees tripping the light fantastic. The entire room seemed to sway as one in harmony as the beautiful melodies filled the house.

The evening was such an exhilarating delight that at one point the entire room even broke out into a chorus of howling so hauntingly beautiful that it was a surprise the moon didn’t answer back. It was sad to see the gentlemen end their set, but, of course, absence makes the heart grow fonder, so everyone in attendance will certainly be waiting with bated breath for their next show. Carmel and The Center For The Performing Arts certainly know how to host a party, and it’ll be hard to beat such a grand night of music by such skilled and passionate artists, but, hopefully, Bigfoot Yancey will grace the halls of The Palladium again one day soon.

Melodie Yvonne

Melodie Yvonne, lead photographer and owner of Photographic Melodie, grew up in the small southern Indiana town of North Vernon. She picked up her first camera at the age of 5, and was immediately hooked. By the age of 15 she began to turn every trip, even just to the local park, into a fantasy scene of her own imagination, and started mentoring with many local professionals. Melodie received an Associates of Applied Science in Visual Technologies majoring in Photography from Ivy Tech in 2002 after studying under acclaimed professors and many other masters in the field.

Melodie’s main focus has always been music photography. Growing up listening to many amazing musicians inspired her dream to create visual images that made people feel the way they do when listening to music. Her goal was to help people SEE the music.

Melodie has done numerous jobs around the country ranging from working for bands to being the official photographer on many southern Indiana Poker Runs. Her specialties are in nature, music, and candid event photography. She published her first print work, a collection of images & poetry, in 2011, and has since published many more print works. Melodie currently acts as owner & lead photographer at Photographic Melodie, House Photographer for Purdue Theatre, and Tour Photographer for multiple Billboard Charts topping bands as well as freelance work with many other media outlets, venues, and musicians.
