This gritty hybrid collection blends Southern Gothic short stories, narrative poems, and vignettes inspired by life in Southern Indiana.

It follows a teenage girl who runs away to escape a home shaped by cruelty and betrayal, only to find herself pulled into an even more dangerous world of drugs, chaos, and survival. What unfolds is a raw and honest look at navigating love, loss, and emotional morality in the drug-entrenched Conservative Midwest at the turn of the century.

From the illustrations to the full book design to the self-publishing journey, this project was created entirely from the heart.
