INDIANAPOLIS, IN (August 1, 2024) – Original members of the Free People’s Workshop as well as many other artists gathered during Sometimes Y to perform poetry, share stories, and celebrate Etheridge Knight in a glorious reunion on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Chatterbox in Indianapolis, Indianapolis. It was an awe-inspiring evening of essays and spoken word written and inspirited by legends. Literary lovers packed the house all night from start to finish as the powerful prose flowed out into the streets carrying listeners in like the tide. The evening was over all too quickly, but the memories will stay in the hearts and minds of every attendee forever.
Sometimes Y meets the 1st Thursday of every month at the Chatterbox on Mass Ave.
