She told me I had to leave, that I was no longer welcome in the presence of a princess, and without another word I stormed out of the palace. I tried to force myself to keep running, to not look back, but I did… I saw an apartment building with vines and weeds growing around it, graffiti painted on its exterior and shattered windows. I was no longer a prince, but a lowly street rat begging on the streets, and the princess was only a girl living a life of shame.
