The Afghan Whigs and The Church a Melomaniac Heaven at HiFi Annex

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (June 27, 2024) – MOKB Presents the Upland Brewing Co. Concert Series featuring The Church and The Afghan Whigs with special guest Ed Harcourt was an extraordinary evening of music in Fountain Square on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the HIFI Annex in Indianapolis, Indiana. The lineup was a melomaniac’s dream come true, and the house was packed from start to finish.

Ed Harcourt started the night with a gorgeous set of mesmerizing melodies that put the audience in a perfect mood for more. His set was over way too quickly, but the craving from the crowd for the legendary dual headliners coming up was palpable.

The Afghan Whigs stepped on the stage to a chorus of uproarious yawps and applause from devotees so passionate that it could surely be heard for miles. The iconic musicians played track after track of perfection from beginning to end. Their luscious performance was one for the ages and will certainly be held in the hearts of all in attendance for life.

The Church blessed the crowd next with their illustrious production and charm that made for a perfect night cap. The band’s performance was flawless and captivated their already adoring fans throughout their all too short set. It was an epic night for all in house and one that will linger in the memories and souls of fans old and new forever.
