COLUMBUS, IN (April 4, 2019) – 411’s third exhibition, “Impressions of Sound and Color”, featured work by Tony Vasquez and the Nomad Art and Visual Communications Students of Ivy Tech Community College. In this exhibition, Vasquez’s work allowed the viewer to experience the fleeting nature of live music along with him. Tony’s work in “Impressions of Sound and Color” suggests themes of an underground or alternative music scene, and provided a creative framework for Nomad Art’s site-specific installation and inspiring new work by Ivy Tech’s Visual Communications Students. The reception for the exhibition was a packed house as many fans of Vasquez’s extraordinary work showed up to support the prodigious artist on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the 411 Gallery.
