Not My Leader – Written by Alexander X. Laymen
I licked my lips as I jerked the curved blade of my colossal axe from the gut of my current victim, drowning out the scream of the enemy with the sound of my own cackling. Blood gushed from the middle of the bloke, covering me from the waist on down, and soaking through the thin fabric that made up my footwear. It was a feeling that angered me. Pure madness pumped through my veins as I pummeled the coward that lay at my feet. Punch after punch, I crushed his body to a pulp. One thing came to my mind as I squeezed his heart within my callused hand, “He was not my leader.”
